Hi! I'm Tawney 👋
My husband Ryan and I run Nana Korobi from our little corner of Arkansas.
We've loved anime for decades—back when Dragon Ball Z ruled Toonami, Pokémon cards filled our backpacks, and staying up way too late to watch Yu Yu Hakusho felt completely normal.
Anime wasn't just entertainment.
It was where we found unforgettable characters, incredible stories, and a community that always felt like home.
That's exactly what we hope Nana Korobi becomes for other fans.
Why We Started Nana Korobi
We purchased Nana Korobi from two wonderful people who poured their hearts into building the store.
Today we're continuing that journey in our own way.
Rather than trying to compete with giant retailers, we're focused on creating a bookstore where manga collectors can discover new series, complete old favorites, and occasionally stumble across something they didn't even know they needed.
We're growing one shelf at a time.
